Church and Play Centre

Design is progressing well for the extension and refurbishment to this church and play centre in Hackney. The church building was one of the oldest Royal Mail sorting office in London; built in 1888.

A new glass entrance lobby is proposed; with improvements made to the street-front facade. Another floor of accommodations will be added to part of the play centre and the vestry to provide more spaces for the community with new landscaping to the central courtyard and outdoor children playground. The basement will also be extended to provide for two new music studios.
