The Blurb

A ‘leftover’ triangular green-field site in Wembley is given the optimization overhaul; with a sensitively designed two-storey house with a basement planned. Careful siting of the triangulated house; with clever rounded off corners to reduce its massing and scale- the house is clad with a series of black-stained timber fins; disappearing to allow glazed apertures now and then. A green roof is planned to encourage bio-diversity within the previous green field site; whilst a circular skylight is positioned to bring in ample natural daylight and ventilation into the stairwell serving both floors.
